Hello sailors

I am looking to be a crew on a cross-atlantic boat from east to west for autumn 2017 (flexible dates). I'm also flexible on the starting and ending marinas as long as we get to the other side ;)

I am a 37 male, in good shape, flexible, friendly, easy-going and willing to make efforts. University professor on (long) break.

I don't have much sailing experience, but I'm willing to learn. At least I know I am not seasick from a 15 days sailing in the indian ocean and some other (short-term) cruises.

I offer helping hands on board: nightwatch, maintenance, cooking (pretty good), childcare, cleaning, no problem I am ok ! I'm pretty good with computer and electronics too. I can speak french, spanish, english, portuguese.

I'm willing to pay all expenses to/from the boat as well as participating in the daily sailing costs.

I am looking for similarly-minded ship crew, would like to meet or speak to the skipper first (at least some phone conversations) in order to know each other and discuss all that is needed before departure.
I can also come some time before to help preparing the boat, and I'm ok for a few days sailing trial.
