BOAT HISTORY
Boat was built by the first owner in Rome in a boatyard which was building metal boats only. First owner had built even a 33’ Sailboat in aluminum. After the sales of PATIMAR, the first owner built a new steel boat and sailed to Venezuela.
PATIMAR name comes from the first letter of the sons of the builder.
PATIMAR has been sailing first in the Mediterranean sea and then crossed the Atlantic in 1992 for visiting VENEZUEAL and Caribbean Island. Return to Mediterranean sea was made in 1994 via BERMUDA / ACORES.
Due to first owner divorce, PATIMAR was put on sale via the Broker da MediaShip ROME (Mr Luca Marziale).
PATIMAR was bought from Zerbinati family via their Company C. N. VALLE SCRIVIA Srl in spring 1999, sailed to  Bocca di Magra, hauled and  fully refitted.
Hull and deck were  blasted and repainted, all deck hardware was dismantled, cleaned, repaired and refitted. Mast was removed, rewired with new navigation lights and  steps were fitted.
In Spring 2011, PATIMAR participated the MEDITERRANEA ODISSEY REGATTA leaving from Savona, Italy and making legs to France, Spain, Baleari islands, Sardinia, South of Italy, Tunisia, Malta, with last leg ending in KERKIRIA Greece. Patimar arrived third in perfect shape.
Despite having win 9 months of free mooring in Tunisia/Monastir, due to 9/11  the boat was kept in Italy first in Otranto (were the old ARONA 55HP engine was replaced by a new PERKINS SABRE 65HP and then moored in SIBARI for two  years. During those 2 years PATIMAR was sailing in south of Italy and Greece.
In 2005 Sibari Marina was closed due to heavy  sand bank. PATIMAR was moved via trailer to the near Harbor of Corigliano Calabro  and sailed to Greece.
In 2005-2006 boat was sailing in Greece-Turkey and kept during winter in Rhodos (dry mooring at Gills Boatyard).
In the years  2007-2008-2009, PATIMAR was sailing in Greece-Turkey and during winters kept on dry mooring at LEROS AGMAR MARINA BOATYARD.
From 2010 till now, Patimar is sailing in North of Greece  with winter dry mooring in VOLOS.
