After 700 miles and 105 hours continuously at sea, we made it!  All my preconceptions about Arkhangel'sk are wrong.  It is hot and sunny, relatively affluent, with good food and an efficient and friendly beaurocracy!  Welcome to Russia!

Sadly this is the end of my trip. After a crew change, Northabout will continue down the Belamorsk canal to St Petersburg,Tallin, Stockholm, Gottenburg and home to Ireland.
