Sorry, I am very late. I got your letter two days ago.

We are very happy on the boat but Fredane is small compared to a flat or a house.

It is very different for cooking, eating and also washing.

Cooking: we must be careful : gas is dangerous! It is difficult  to cook when it moves.

Eating: we must be careful to fill the glass! The boat always moves. It is difficult ! don't drop the glass!

Washing: No washing machine on Fredane. I wash by hand t shirts. It is warm so there is not much washing! I put it outside to dry.

Is the sea rough? you say . It depends. We don't like when the wind is too strong, so we wait in the harbour and we watch the weather forecast. And if it is bad when we are on the sea , we do what is possible. Often there is movement but not rough. Along Spanish and Portuguese coasts, there is swell and a big, long swell. It is very different from France. The boat moves a lot ! we must be careful .The boat goes up and down because of the swell.
